Final blog

Today is the last day of my Communications media class. So for nostalgias sake I am going to do a reflection. Communication media is a doorway, the doorway leads to new experiences which I recommend you try. I am an  amateur media enthusiast, and am not very good in this class. Half of the assignments Im given I don't even know how to do. But, when my teacher Mr. Vendramin explains things, they make sense. Unfortunately there are days when I miss his explanations and everything becomes difficult. Despite being quite terrible in this class, I enjoy it very much so to anyone who is thinking about taking a class like this; Do not miss the chance to put an awesome beard on your face. Thanks to the 247 people who have viewed my blog, you are awesome even if you think im lame lol. If your a fan,(yeah right) bless your face, if you've sneezed while reading this, bless you. This will be the last entry for this year.

Week 19

So its now Week 19 people Im caught up and have mostly B's and a C and a a few A's ... School is almost done, cant wait for summer. Im hoping to be moving soon, or not moving soon. My family is crazy and cant make up their minds on anything, I hope that they decide soon, so that I can figure out what Im going to be doing in two years. Faith in humanity is restored. Journey to the centre of Hawthorne is a real game which is awesome. Been playing Age of Empires with some friends. Im not doing very good, there's this guy named Noah Perras he like takes me when Im at my best, and eats my soul. Other than that Im playing Warframe Kingdomtonia Clan on Steam join me!

Week 17

If you happen to be viewing my blog, sorry im doing some of these kinda lazy, I missed a bunch of class and Im doing my blogs which are graded. I didnt know that we are already in week 19 of blogging so im just gonna say sorry for doing these really lazily. In other news Troy and Abed in the Morning!

Week 16

Well everybody, now im gonna be doing some animation, I was originally gonna do a kind of historic vid but now i've decided to do a alien abduction, pretty cool right. Well yeah in other news Im very sad I just finished season three on community and Netflix doesn't have season four or five...

Week 15

Sorry Everybody I have become sick for a week now this is really gonna hurt my progress in what we are gonna be doing.

Week 14

Ok all I have been working with garageband and flash and they are pretty awesome! Ive composed some pieces that would be perfect for a game like stronghold and I have been doing a little alien abduction of vault boy from fallout. You know it really is pretty hard to do stuff on a specific subject, however it is really awesome when you are just going at it loving the music you are making.

Week 13

Ouch, I have missed even more school, I have been sick. My family all got sick too. In fact, my uncle was hospitalized and the family is in a panic cause everybody is sick. Like even my cousins all got sick. I cant believe I got sick I missed May the fourth be with you day AHH!

Week 12

Well then, boy am I gonna miss quite a bit. This week I have been in Banff and was participating in a music festival with my schools vocal Jazz groups. Banff really is awesome, although the food is a little pricy, the scenery is just gorgeous, I wish I had had a cell phone or something to take pictures. So yeah that was this week sorry I dont have much at all to say about my CM class.

Week 11

Sorry but im only gonna be in class for one or two days this week so i only have to say that we are working on our e portfolios and a bunch of videos.

Week 10

So now im really getting into the e portfolio. I got my Index page done and now im just trying to figure out how to create new pages without creating new sites. Other than that everything happens to be honky dory. Actually now that I think about it, I really dont know how to do buttons. I took this last year but Im not really remembering hyperlinks and stuff... I hope that Mr.V puts more help videos on web design, so far they have been extremely helpful. Now pardon me while I jam to the oldies while figuring out web design catch ya later people!

Week 9

Hey everybody now my class is working on e portfolios. Im a bit rusty in this area but i have got a awesome Home page designed already so im pretty happy. You know I find that classic rock is the best   for feel good music. Two best are Rama Lama Ding Dong and Who put the Bomp. They stimulate creativity and are extremely good for stress relief. Now im going back to design the rest of my e portfolio so guys and gals cya in week 10!

Week 8

Nothing can shake my spirits this week. I  have beaten Dark Souls and found the end game soundtracks which are beautiful. Oh man Dark Souls was a challenge and I feel an inexplainable amount of satisfaction and sense of personal worth for completing a video game. I plan to do quite a bit this week including thinking of ideas for my e-portfolio. (Most likely will have to do with Dark Souls) Yeah! Im gonna make an awesome e portfolio and all the while listening to awesome music. Until the for any sunbros out their Praise the Sun! Solaire rest in peace.

Week 7

Sorry everybody this is a little late. I've been quite busy with things and have not found the time to do a blog so this is a makeup post. Well week seven is turning out to be a pretty bad week. My personal life is turning upside down inside out. My world is also changing, possible war in Korea, outlawing of guns in the US. Stress is bearing down on me. If the US goes to war with North Korea than will we? What happens if the gun restriction law passes in the US. Civil unrest? There could be a possible civil war in the US and that is right beside Canada. What happens if in the future the US becomes oppressive and tyrannical how will people stand up to the government. What happens if certain religious prophecy comes to pass? All of this seems to be coming to a climax. Our world a staging ground for the ultimate play of all time. This is effecting my schooling... Im not paying attention and Im getting grey hairs. (Literally)

How I handle Copyright

For myself, when dealing with copyright, I just look for any sign of copyright, and if there is I look for pics that are either creative commons or public domain, but if I really must use a copyright pic, I will as permission to use the photo. I cant really buy a pic as I do not have money. Other than that I will do all that is necessary to get a pic, example) giving credit or changing the picture by whatever percentage. There you go thats how I would handle copyright situations.

Week 6

Hey all sorry i did not get to this last week, I was busy trying to figure out what was going on with the infomercial assignment we have. So there is this guy named Carter, he is pretty good at writing scripts, we have our script down and Green is going to be doing the acting. Chris and I are on cameras and sound. I volunteered to do the sound for all the groups because I think I have a feel for it. Well anyway, it was slow to set up the shot, but now I feel as if we could get it in around fifteen minutes or so. I hear one of the other groups will be doing the Harlem Shake which I think is stupid, but at least I will be on sound and not doing the shake as an extra. I have not gotten any sleep for the past few days, and im feeling pretty bad, so I feel that this week will be very tiresome.

Week 5

Now we is into the fifth week of semester two. CM is proving to be a good class, I'm glad I picked it. So, it appears that we are gonna be doin quite a few things this week. (Sigh) This is not all that great for me as I am confused in the copyright assignments. I have already done to blogs that the homework said to do, but I feel as if I'm missing something. Carter came up with a good company idea, and now we need a name and script, I already found some good props and we're planning on using the green screen to create a background. On the infomercial I have a good feeling that it will turn out awesome. Like my steam name; AwesomeMcCoolName.

Key points from video about copyright

I myself, wouldn't mind if people used my work... perhaps even without giving me credit. For others i could understand why they would feel insulted. However, even though I am not for copyright, if I were able to have creative works, I would enjoy the personal gratification of a person asking permission. Credit is gratification, and I like gratification, but I don't need gratification. For adding or changing my works, I really wouldn't care, to me that then becomes their work.

Week 4

Well, four weeks then... I guess that makes a month. Im still having fun here, and the only qualm I have is that Im not listening to an audiobook. Now, i've just seen the product of my work on my video-game cover and I like it. This class has become a great source of gratification for effort, which i believe would  really help some people. Also, Mr.V is actually kinda funny, reminds me of Mr. Folk... Im Kinda. Im pretty jazzed about the upcoming infomercials. Im not sure Im gonna like that project but gonna do my best. Week 4.

How would I use copyright?

 In my opinion when you post something onto the internet it might as well already be part of public domain. I care not for laws regarding copyright even though I try following it, but its really inconvenient. Also, it does not make sense.
   For people who are sticklers for it, I really don't understand why. I mean when something is on the web it can and probably will be viewed by millions of people so it doesn't really matter if someone copies your work just because of the fact that it is so easy to access.

Mark of the Beast?

   If you're at all familiar with the book of Revelation, you oughta be concerned with the RFID thing that may be happening in the U.S. From what I'm reading across the web there is nothing really definite about the microchip prospect either being true or false. On one site I read that the bill HR3200 was only a rough draft,and not passed yet. On another it states that it was non-discussed and passed back when  Obamacare was passed. However, apparently Ron Paul (One of the guys who got rid of that Computer thing which would have restricted copyright to American linked companies.) discussed this topic and the story is on the web. I myself, think well of Ron Paul (For the computer thing) and know that the topic has been brought up by many people.     Now then, whether this is just a leaked rough draft, or really going on, if any of this is true it clearly states the intent of the government, and it seems that they intend to disregard the warnings of Jesus and go ahead (Whether its in a month or a few years) with distributing this miniature slave collar. This is just a thought but, if Jesus had not told us that this mark would be evil, it would be one of the biggest tech breakthroughs ever. The set date for the beginning of either the distribution of chips or a vote on the matter is March 23 2013. If anything indeed happens (even if its a vote and it is ousted) it will be clear as to where the world is heading, and it will be time to get out of first world countries and head somewhere where you can be self sufficient and utilize the barter system.

Week 3

This Week, I enjoy myself in class by listening to music that gets stuck in my head and also there is a picture of Yoda which helps which I have been tending to stare at to think. Has anybody heard the song Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley? It seriously is easy to get stuck in yer head and it is a good song. The only thing that is upsetting me is the slowness of this mac, it does not load youtube which is annoying. Other than that all is well. We are gonna be working on a poster for the Juno awards. That is a problem for me as I really dont pay attention to much i.e.. First time I heard about the Junos. This is gonna be a good week.

Week 2

Hiya everybody, its me again. So, class is going well, I finished my Hall Pass and Game Cover. Also, Im nearly done my Certificate. Although, I seriously doubt I'll win, I am still quite proud of my work. It is simple, and nice but, I still look at others and I just don't seem to have the creative juices some others have. I've been drifting off into sleep in class (in all my classes) because I have had trouble falling asleep in bed. I am enjoying this class greatly  especially when I am just pumping out work while listening to music. For anyone reading, God bless.

Names for short stories

hmm.......... hmm............ I cant think of good names for northern barbarians. Im trying to get into writing books, but since I'm taking baby steps I am writing short stories for my creative writing class. I want to write a story about two enemies who are forced to work together to survive. However, during the course of their misadventure, they begin to respect  each-other and (thinking the other is dead) carry letters to the old enemies family where they are both killed. The story is meant to be sad, but awesome. I need help to think of names for a Barbarian, fur wearing warrior. Also, it would be helpful if somebody came up with a name for a lieutenant of a roman like army.

Week 1

Now Communications media is different then it was last year. I wasn't able to do a good hall pass, cause I forgot to look at the website (this is the first time i have had to actually go to a site so it is gonna be hard to get into things). I made a good video game I think but i found it hard to think of how to do a spine and ended up just having it black. Other than that its a pretty good class, I want to listen to youtube, but I have a feeling it will get in the way of work time. This is week one of Communications Media.

The ElderScrolls

The Elder Scrolls Online, now that is awesome news. I just watched both the cinematic and the gameplay trailers and Im stoked. Not only will it have the notorious good gameplay that The Elder Scrolls in known for, but it will also have a PvP and sub-plot system with three factions, The Daggerfell Covenant, The Aldmeri Dominion, and The Ebonheart Pact. All three factions vie for power over the country of Cyrodil, and all three have good reason. This makes it hard for me to choose a side. The only real concern I have is the PvP system, with three faction the player can join, will one group become more stacked and take over Cyrodil easily.
